Randoli at KCD Sri Lanka 2025

Randoli took part in Kubernetes Community Days Sri Lanka 2025, held on 26 October 2025 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo, with a conference session and a booth run by the Randoli team.

Our session

Rajith Attapattu, Randoli’s CTO, gave a technical session at 2:00 PM titled “Rethinking Observability: Decoupling Control and Data Planes”. To see how that design works in the product, read about Randoli’s architecture.

Highlights from the day

  • Keynotes from Sanjiva Weerawarana, Ram Iyengar, Atulpriya Sharma and Saiyam Pathak.
  • A talk on managing millions of storage volumes by Yash Sharma, and a talk on Kubernetes at the edge by the NCINGA team.
  • A talk on Kubernetes security by Achini Rathnayake, a former Randoli engineer.

Thank you to Kemila De Silva and Chamod Perera for putting together a great event, and to the organizing team who worked through the night beforehand to make it happen. It was good to see the energy of the newer engineers entering the industry, and we hope the Sri Lankan Kubernetes community keeps organizing KCD Sri Lanka to grow the local ecosystem.
